How this estimate is built
These are published 2026 market ranges, not a quote. Every warehouse prices differently, and the only number that binds anyone is the one on your own rate card. What this shows is the band a job of this shape usually falls into, and which parts of it are driving the number.
| Component | Range used |
|---|---|
| 40ft floor-loaded, devan and palletize | $350 – $600 |
| 20ft floor-loaded | $200 – $350 |
| Palletized unload (either size) | $150 – $300 |
| Sort and segregate, above 5 SKUs | $75 – $200 |
| Pallets supplied, new GMA grade | $8 – $16 each |
| After hours or weekend | $100 – $200 |
What this does not include
The two meters that usually cost a shipper more than the devanning spread: per-diem at $150–$400 a day and chassis rental at $30–$60 a day. A container turned in 24–48 hours can be worth more than a cheaper rate that takes a week. The full cost breakdown is here.
This calculator prices against market ranges because it does not know your rate card. Rapid Ai 10x does: Adriana reads a shipper's email, pulls the size, load type, counts and SKUs out of it, and prices it against your card — variant by variant — with a draft waiting for a human to approve.
